The management of Federal University of Technology Owerri has released both the Harmattan Semester (first semester) and the rain semester academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session

HARMATTAN SEMESTER 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

  • Monday, 13th January, 2025 - New Students Begin Registrations/Payments
  • Friday, 17th January, 2025 - Old Students Return/Registrations/Payments
  • Friday February, 2025 - 43rd Matriculation Ceremony
  • 28th to 3rd May, 2025 - Harmattan Semester Examinations begin

RAIN SEMESTER 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

  • 26 June, 2025 - Week 1: Lectures
  • 1-5th September, 2025 - Rain Semester Examinations Begin
