FUWUKARI approves students' week, declares 5-Day Lecture-Free Period
The Management of Federal University Wukari (FUW) has officially approved the conduct of the "Professor J.S. Rabo Students' Week" activities. The announcement was conveyed via a memorandum from the Office of the Registrar following a request from the Student Union Government (SUG).
Lectures will be suspended from Monday, January 26th to Friday, January 30th, 2026.
According to the memo signed by Shekarau Atoshi Masa-Ibi (SAR, Registrar Office) on behalf of the Registrar, the Vice-Chancellor granted the approval to ensure that all students can fully participate in the week's scheduled activities.
The university administration has directed all concerned partiesβincluding staff and studentsβto take note of the scheduled suspension of academic activities and comply accordingly. This move highlights the university's support for student engagement and extracurricular development under the current administration.
Students are encouraged to use the lecture-free days to engage meaningfully in the organized events designated for the week.
