FUWUKARI SUG releases updated list of certified off-campus accommodation agents

In line with the Students' Union Government's commitment to protecting students from fraud, exploitation and excessive accommodation charges, below is the updated list of certified and recognized accommodation agents approved by the SUG for off-campus accommodation services.

​Any agent whose name does not appear on this list is not recognized by the Students' Union Government (SUG), and the Union shall not be held responsible for any transaction carried out with such persons.

​Students are strongly advised to patronize only the certified agents listed below for easy identification, accountability, and proper tracking whenever the need arises.

​Students are advised to:

​✓ Deal only with SUG-certified agents

​✓ Ensure a receipt of payment is issued for every transaction

​✓ Properly confirm and understand the actual cost of rent before making payment

​✓ Avoid making payments to unknown or uncertified agents

​✓ Approved agent fee for accommodation processing is ₦10,000 only.

​✓ Any agent demanding charges beyond the approved fee should be reported immediately to the Students' Union Government (SUG).

The SUG issued this updated list of certified accommodation agents to protect students from fraud and exploitation. Students are advised to:

​Deal only with SUG-certified agents.

​Ensure a receipt of payment is issued for every transaction.

​Properly confirm and understand the actual cost of rent before making payment.

​Avoid making payments to unknown or uncertified agents.

​Pay an approved agent fee of ₦10,000 only for accommodation processing.

​Report any agent demanding charges beyond the approved fee immediately to the SUG.
