GOMSU opens portal for inter/intra-faculty transfer

The Gombe State University (GOMSU), Gombe, has announced the opening of its portal for Inter/Intra-Faculty Transfer for interested undergraduate students.

According to an internal memo issued by the Office of the Registrar on February 24, 2026, eligible students who wish to transfer from their current Faculty, Department, or Programme to another are required to complete their application online through the University Portal within the approved period.

The Inter/Intra-Faculty Transfer application form attracts a non-refundable fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (₦20,000.00), payable through the University payment platform.

Guidelines for Application

1. All applications must be submitted online through the University Portal after successful payment.
2. Applications will be considered subject to vacancy and approval by the relevant Departments, Faculties, and the University Admission Committee where applicable.
3. Late applications will not be entertained.

The portal will remain open from Wednesday, 25th February, 2026 to Monday, 9th March, 2026.

Students are advised to ensure that all information provided during the application process is accurate, as false information may lead to disqualification.

Note: There is no available space for transfer into MBBS, Nursing, and Law programmes. Students are therefore advised not to apply for these programmes.
