GOMSU opens registration portal for 2025/2026 academic session

The Management of Gombe State University (GOMSU), Gombe, has officially announced the opening of the registration portal for the 2025/2026 Academic Session for both fresh and returning students.

This information was contained in a statement issued by the Office of the Registrar, calling on students, parents, and guardians to take note of the development and ensure timely completion of all registration processes.

Registration Details

1. Fresh Students

• Portal URL: student.portal.gsu.edu.ng
• Username: JAMB Registration Number
• Default Password: gsu2026 (students are advised to change this upon first login)

The University emphasized that only fresh students who have successfully verified their O’Level results will be allowed to proceed with full registration on the portal.

Fresh students who are yet to complete their O’Level verification are advised to do so immediately via verifyolevel.gsu.edu.ng, as failure to verify will prevent access to the registration process.

2. Returning Students

• Portal URL: student.portal.gsu.edu.ng
• Username: Matriculation Number
• Default Password: gsu2026 (students are advised to change this upon first login)

Returning students are encouraged to complete their registration promptly and strictly in line with the University’s guidelines.

Important Notice

Parents and guardians are kindly requested to support their wards to ensure timely registration. The University warned that failure to complete registration within the stipulated period may attract late registration fees, as provided by the University regulations.
