Govt Approves Building An Over Head Bridge For Uniben Students

Edo State government has finally yield to the students demand to construct a pedestrian overhead bridge at the main gate of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), in the bid to provide safe passage for students.

It will be recalled that several students of the institution have lost their lives in the course of crossing the Benin-Lagos expressway to the institution’s campus.

The governor who made this known at the 42nd convocation ceremony of the institution, stated that the new development is to ensure the safety of the students who are crossing the road.
