IBB University Lapai announces date for opening undergraduate accommodation portal

The Deanery of Student Affairs, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBUL), Lapai, has announced the opening of the Undergraduate Hostel Accommodation Portal for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

According to a statement issued from the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohammed Hadi Sulaiman, the portal will officially open on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. (CAT).

The announcement, signed by the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Suleiman Mohammed Evuti, stated that newly admitted and eligible returning undergraduate students are invited to visit the university hostel registration portal to reserve bed spaces.

Key Guidelines for Students

Students are advised to carefully note the following conditions:

1. The hostel accommodation portal will only be accessible after payment of school registration fees.

2. Upon payment of accommodation fees, students must complete documentation with their respective Hall Administrators before gaining access to their allocated bed spaces.

3. Hostel accommodation is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Buying or selling of bed spaces is strictly prohibited, and offenders will be sanctioned in line with provisions in the Student Handbook.

5. Students are expected to use university properties responsibly, as any form of misuse will attract appropriate disciplinary measures.

The university management urged all students to comply strictly with the stated guidelines to ensure a smooth and orderly hostel allocation process.
