IBBU, Lapai gets new Vice Chancellor

The Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has approved the appointment of Professor Sulaiman Mohammed Hadi as the new Vice Chancellor of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai.

Professor Hadi, a distinguished scholar from the Department of Veterinary Anatomy, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, emerged as the top candidate after a rigorous selection process. His appointment takes effect from Monday, February 17, 2025.

A statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman, highlighted that Professor Hadi’s selection was based on merit, academic excellence, leadership qualities, and outstanding performance during the screening process conducted by the Governing Council.
