Igbinedion University announces 23rd Convocation Ceremony

Igbinedion University, Okada, has released details for its 23rd Convocation Ceremony, scheduled to hold on Friday, 28th November, 2025, and Saturday, 29th November, 2025.

The announcement was made by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye, on behalf of the Board of Regents, Council and Senate.

Friday, 28th November, 2025 – Convocation Lecture

Guest Speaker: Hon. Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu, Minister of State for Education, Federal Republic of Nigeria

Lecture Topic: “The Nexus between Education and National Prosperity in a Transformative Economy”

Time: 10:00 a.m.

Venue: University Library Conference Hall, Igbinedion University, Okada

Saturday, 29th November, 2025 – Main Convocation Ceremony

Event: Conferment of First Degrees, Higher Degrees and Award of Prizes

Guest Speaker: Brigadier General Olakunle Oluseye Nafiu, Director-General, National Youths Service Corps (NYSC)

Time: 10:00 a.m.

Venue: Main Auditorium, Igbinedion University, Okada
