MAUTECH SUG update on NELFUND

The Student Union Government (SUG) of Modibbo Adama University, Yola, wishes to formally update the student body regarding the outstanding three (3) months upkeep allowance owed to students.

The SUG President, Sen. Yazeed Bello, recently traveled to Abuja for a direct engagement with officials at the NELFUND office. During this visit, the concerns of the student body were thoroughly discussed and strongly advocated for. The SUG leadership emphasized the challenges and inconveniences caused by the delay, highlighting the urgent need for these funds to support student welfare and daily upkeep.

We are pleased to report that NELFUND officials have provided a firm assurance that the necessary steps are being finalized. The funds are expected to be released as soon as possible. Based on the information received, students should remain expectant of their payments at any moment from now.
