IMSU Embarks On Strike Following School Fees Increment

Report has is that the ASUU chapter of Imo State University has embarked on a strike.

This was coming after the convocation ceremony of the institution held recently.

A Copy of the memo declaring the strike was pasted at the school’s front gate and other locations within the school premises.

It was learnt that the strike action is connected with the recent increment on the school fees payable by non-indigenous students of the school as follows;

FACULTY OF MEDICINE -N190,000.00
FACULTY OF LAW- N180,000.00
FACULTY OF ENGINEERING -N180,000,00
OTHER FACULTIES- N150,000.00
