IMSU Lecturers Vow To Continue Strike

Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Imo State University Chapter has vowed to continue the strike action it has embarked on until all unpaid salaries are settled.

Prof. Valene Obinna, Media Director, Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Imo State University Chapter made this known.

According to him, the the union embarked on the strike action to protest non payment of March and April salaries of its members as well as other issues which the union had been agitating for emphasizing that the strike action was not political neither has it anything to do with the just concluded gubernatorial elections in the state.
