Indorama Nigeria announces SIWES Programme for Nigerian student, 2025/2026

Indorama Nigeria has officially announced the commencement of its 2025/2026 Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) programme. The announcement was made through an internal memorandum issued by the Human Resources Department (HRD) and addressed to all staff.

According to the memo referenced HR/MEM/026/01, the SIWES programme is designed to provide Nigerian students in tertiary institutions with practical industrial experience relevant to their fields of study. The initiative aligns with Indorama Nigeria’s commitment to skills development and capacity building for young professionals.

Eligible Courses

Students studying any of the following disciplines are eligible to apply:

• Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Mechatronics
• Process Engineering: Petroleum, Gas, Chemical Engineering
• Accounting, Banking and Finance
• Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
• Laboratory Sciences: Medical Laboratory Science, SLT, Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry
• Business Administration, Purchasing, Logistics, Marketing
• Management Sciences

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Indorama SIWES programme, applicants must:

• Be enrolled full-time in a recognized Nigerian University or Polytechnic
• Have authorization from their institution to participate in SIWES during the specified period
