ABU Institute of ICT announces Sale of 2026 Short & Intermediate Courses

The Iya Abubakar Institute of ICT (IAIICT), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, has announced the sale of application forms for its 2026 Short and Intermediate Courses.

Prospective candidates can obtain application forms at N1,000 from Room 308, 2nd Floor, IAIICT Building (Iya Abubakar Computer Centre).

Short Courses – lasting between 4 and 8 weeks – include Basic Digital Skills, Data Analysis (Excel & SPSS), Web Design (Front-End), Python Essentials, Educational Technology, and Data Management with R. Fees range from N15,000 to N25,000 depending on the course and applicant category (students/ABU staff vs. others).

Intermediate Courses, offered under the Cisco Networking Academy, cover Microsoft Digital Literacy, IT Support Essentials, CCNA series, Python and JavaScript Essentials, Cyber Security Associate, Data Sciences, Network Security, and Ethical Hacking (12 weeks). Registration fees vary by gender and status: ABU students pay between N6,000 and N40,000, while non-ABU students and staff pay higher rates, with Ethical Hacking costing N50,000 for staff and others.

Classes begin at the start of every quarter at 2pm in the Institute building.
