The management of Jigawa State Polytechnic, Dutse, through the Office of the Registrar, has released detailed registration guidelines and schedule of registration fees for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session (Morning Programmes).

According to the announcement, all newly admitted students are required to strictly follow the outlined registration steps to complete their admission process.

Registration Procedures

New students are to begin by logging into the admission dashboard to pay a ₦5,000 acceptance fee and print their provisional admission letter. Thereafter, candidates are to proceed to the Academic Division with original credentials and evidence of payment for screening and clearance.

Following clearance, students are to visit the ICT Directorate to obtain login details for generating a Remita schedule for registration fees. Payments can be made via any bank or online payment gateway. However, female indigene students of Jigawa State are only required to pay ₦6,000, covering FlexiSAF service fee, MIS charges, SUG dues, and medical service (TISHIP).

Students must then log into the Students’ Records Management System (SRMS) to verify payment, register courses, and print the Course Registration Form, Biodata Form, and Medical Form. ND students are further directed to collect their JAMB admission letters from the ICT Directorate.

Other mandatory steps include documentation at the Students’ Affairs Division, medical examination at the Polytechnic Clinic, and signing/stamping of documents at the Bursary, Department, and Students’ Affairs units, before final documentation at the department.

Registration Fees

The institution also released a comprehensive breakdown of registration fees for:

Higher National Diploma (HND)

National Diploma (ND)

National Certificate in Education (NCE)

for both new and returning students, as well as Arts & Social Sciences and Sciences & Engineering programmes.

The total payable fees vary based on programme and indigene status, with non-indigene students paying significantly higher amounts than indigenes.

Special Notice for Health Programmes

Students enrolled in health-related programmes are reminded that, in addition to school fees, they must register with relevant professional councils during their studies. Fees range from ₦38,000 to ₦76,500, depending on the programme, to enable participation in professional examinations and licensing.

The notice was officially signed by the Registrar, who urged all students to comply strictly with the guidelines to avoid delays or forfeiture of admission.

Students are advised to complete their registration within the approved timeframe and keep all payment receipts and documents safe for reference.
