The Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria (IMAN) School Management Committee, based at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), is currently inviting applications for the position of Chemistry Teacher for their Senior Secondary School.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering both practical and theoretical Chemistry instruction to students from diverse backgrounds. The role requires excellent administrative, verbal communication, and writing skills, alongside the ability to foster a stimulating and effective learning environment.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry Education, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- National Service: Possession of a valid NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter.
- Experience: Previous teaching experience is considered an added advantage.
- Skills: Proficiency in both the theoretical and practical aspects of Chemistry.
- Availability: Candidates must be prepared to commit to a full-time teaching position.
