BUK update on Kaduna State Scholarship Scheme.

The Kaduna State Students’ Union (KADSSU), Bayero University, Kano (BUK) Chapter, has released an update on the Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board (KDSLB) screening exercise recently conducted at the University.

According to the Union, the physical screening carried out at BUK marks only one stage of the overall scholarship process. Students who were successfully screened have been advised to remain calm and patient as the Board proceeds to the next phase.

The next stage involves a comprehensive review and verification of all submitted credentials and information. Upon completion, the Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board will compile a final list of successful applicants and forward it directly to the school management.

The Union further disclosed that approved scholarship funds will be disbursed to the University management and applied toward the settlement of beneficiaries’ registration fees for the next academic session.

Students have been strongly cautioned against spreading rumours or relying on unverified information. For clarification or further inquiries, they are encouraged to contact members of the Union Executives through official KADSSU-BUK channels.

KADSSU-BUK leadership reaffirmed its commitment to closely monitoring the entire process to ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability, while also exploring additional opportunities to support students who may not benefit from this particular intervention.
