KASU notice on restriction of access during news students verification exercise
Kaduna State University (KASU) has announced new access restrictions at the venue of the ongoing screening and registration exercise for newly admitted students. The directive, issued by the Office of the Registrar, aims to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted, and secure verification process.
According to the university management, a surge in human traffic at the verification center in recent days has caused congestion, delays, and operational inefficiencies. To address this, only authorized staff directly involved in the exercise will now be granted access to the restricted area.
The institution noted that the move is also part of broader security precautions intended to safeguard sensitive student documentation and maintain the integrity of the verification process. Management emphasized that the measure will help ensure a controlled environment and enhance the overall safety of students.
Parents, guardians, and non-essential staff are advised to remain outside the restricted zone unless officially cleared or invited by university authorities. Designated waiting areas have been provided to accommodate visitors, and further updates will be communicated as needed.
In the statement signed by Registrar Samira Balarabe, Esq., the university expressed appreciation for the cooperation and understanding of all concerned as efforts continue toward a secure and seamless verification exercise
