KASU announces 15th Professorial Inaugural Lecture

The Vice-Chancellor of Kaduna State University (KASU), Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa, has announced the 15th Professorial Inaugural Lecture of the institution.

The lecture will be delivered by Professor James Chibueze Igwe, a distinguished scholar with academic qualifications of BSc from Ebonyi State University (EBSU) and MSc and PhD from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU).

The topic of the inaugural lecture is “Confronting the Double Threat: Emerging Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Resistance – Strategies for a Sustainable Healthcare Future.”

The event is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 29th January, 2026, at the 1000 Lecture Theatre Hall, Kaduna State University, Kaduna, by 10:00 a.m.
