The distinguished Guest Lecturer will be Professor Jeleel O. Ojuade, the Vice Chancellor of Ojaja University, Eyenkorin, Ilorin. Professor Ojuade is expected to deliver a compelling address on the enduring importance of humanistic values, interpretation, and meaning amidst the pervasive influence of data-driven technologies and algorithmic systems.

The lecture will be held at the AbdulRasheed Na’Allah Performing Arts Theatre on KWASU’s main campus, commencing at 10:30 a.m.

The event will be presided over by the university’s Chief Host, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Alade Jimoh, Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University. Serving as Host is Professor Abdus Sami’i Imam Arikewuyo, Dean of the Faculty of Arts.

The lecture is organized under the leadership of the Faculty of Arts Seminar and Lecture Committee, chaired by Dr. Aliyu Okuta Ahmad and with Dr. Adeoti Oluwatomi as Secretary.

This annual lecture underscores KWASU’s commitment, as “the green university for community development and entrepreneurship,” to fostering critical discourse at the intersection of technology, society, and the core questions of human existence.
