KWASU update on students' unrest

This is to inform the entire University community that, today's protest by students over the issue of payment of exemption fee for hostel accommodation has been brought under control. 

Consequently, students and staff are expected to continue with academic activities and their normal duties. 

The hostel exemption fee remains at N5,000 only. Interested students who fall in the following categories: health/ physical challenges, married students/ pregnant/ nursing mothers are expected to apply to the Dean of Students' Affairs for hostel exemption.
