Lagos Business School Young Talents Programme (YPP) for Nigerians 2026

Andrew 1 week ago

The Young Talents Programme (YTP) is a highly selective talent development initiative designed to identify, develop, and connect outstanding young graduates across Nigeria. The programme brings together high-potential individuals for an intensive two-day, in-person learning and leadership experience focused on preparing participants for life and career opportunities beyond academia.

YTP challenges participants to think critically, collaborate in teams, develop capstone projects, and present innovative solutions to real-world problems. The programme goes beyond traditional training by combining academic excellence with professional exposure, leadership development, and career positioning.

At its core, YTP is built on three pillars:

  • Mentorship: Participants receive faculty-led and professional mentorship that continues after the programme through structured team-based mentoring lasting approximately six months.
  • Talent Development: The programme stretches participants beyond their academic comfort zones, helping them build leadership capacity, problem-solving skills, and future-ready competencies.
  • Talent Sourcing: YTP serves as a pipeline for identifying exceptional young talent for advanced academic opportunities, research pathways, and recruitment by partner organisations and sponsors.
