LASU Consults Postgraduate Diploma admission in Hospital Administration and Management

Lagos State University (LASU), through LASU Consult Limited and in collaboration with its external partner, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, has announced the commencement of applications for the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programme in Hospital Administration and Management for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

According to the University, the programme aligns with the mandate of LASU to provide quality and accessible education to the people of Lagos State by equipping professionals with the necessary skills to manage both public and private sector institutions effectively, particularly within the healthcare system.

Programme Details

  • Programme: Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital Administration and Management
  • Duration: One Academic Year
  • Application Fee: ₦10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira)

Admission Requirements

The PGD programme is designed to be multidisciplinary. As such, applications are open to candidates from diverse academic backgrounds. Interested applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Humanities, or Social Sciences from a recognised institution, in addition to five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • A Higher National Diploma (HND) in Social Sciences, Sciences, or Management Sciences from a recognised institution, plus five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Mature candidates with relevant and cognisant work experience and at least three (3) O’Level credits may also be considered.

Method of Application

Interested and qualified candidates are required to obtain application forms from the Workforce Planning and Recruitment Unit, MRC Building, LASUTH.

Completed application forms must be submitted with the following documents:

  • Photocopies of academic credentials
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Two (2) recent passport photographs on a white background
  • Other relevant supporting documents

Screening Exercise

Applicants will undergo a Computer-Based Test (CBT) at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) as part of the screening process. Candidates who are successful at this stage will be invited for an oral interview, during which original copies of their credentials will be required for verification.
