LASU Gets An Acting Vice Chancellor

The Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode has appointed Professor Fidelis Olisamedua Njokanma as the Acting Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University, LASU, pending the appointment of a substantive VC.

The appointment followed the tenure expiration of the former Vice Chancellor, Prof John Obafunwa’s on October 31st, 2015.

Until his appointment, Njokanma, a former Head of Department of Pediatrics, former Dean, Faculty of Clinical Sciences and the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) of the institution.
