LASU notice to students on refund of NELFUND Loan

This is to inform all students who have not yet received their disbursed Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) loan that they are required to submit a formal written request for a refund of their outstanding 2023/2024 NELFUND loan which was received on their behalf by the University in 2025.

Concerned students are hereby advised to write a formal request letter and submit it to:

Office of the Senior Deputy Bursar,

Faculties and Schools Unit,

4th Floor, Babatunde Raji Fashola Senate Building, Lagos State University.

The letter must include the following student details:

* Full Name

* Matriculation Number

* Bank Account Details

* Phone Number

In addition, the following documents should also be attached to the request:

i. School fees payment receipt for the 2024/2025 session (paid before September 2025)

ii. NELFUND disbursement confirmation slip

Submission Format: Only hard copies of the required documents should be forwarded. Online or email submissions will not be accepted

Deadline for submission: Friday, 13th February 2026

Please note that failure to comply may affect your refund processing.
