LASU notice on Intra-University Transfer Application form, 2026/2027 session

The University Senate, at its 330th Statutory Meeting held on Thursday, 30th April 2026, considered a paper with Ref. No: LASU/SEN/ST.330/04/026/063, presented by the Chairman, Senate Committee on Intra-University Transfer. The paper contained the proposed Time-Table for Students’ Applications for Intra-University Transfer for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

During deliberations, Senate noted that:

i. the Senate Committee on Intra-University Transfer, at its virtual meeting held on Tuesday, 14th April 2026, considered the proposed time-table for the 2026/2027 Academic Session;

ii. all students seeking Intra-University Transfer must apply within the stipulated application period;

iii. all applications for Intra-University Transfer shall be submitted online;

iv. applications for Intra-University Transfer shall be made within two (2) weeks after Senate approval of results for the preceding Academic Session. Consequently, all students seeking transfer across Colleges, Faculties, and Schools must apply within the same period; and

v. all processes relating to Intra-University Transfer must be concluded not later than the fifth week of resumption for the new Academic Session.

The approved Time-Table for Students’ Applications for Intra-University Transfer is as follows:

1. Students’ Applications for Intra-University Transfer

Duration: Two (2) weeks – Monday, 1st June 2026 to Friday, 12th June 2026

2. Consideration of Applications by Releasing Departments and Faculties

Duration: Two (2) weeks – Monday, 15th June 2026 to Friday, 26th June 2026

3. Consideration of Applications by Receiving Departments and Faculties

Duration: Two (2) weeks – Monday, 29th June 2026 to Friday, 10th July 2026

4. Consideration of Students’ Applications and Recommendations by the Committee

Duration: One (1) week– Monday, 13th July 2026 to Friday, 17th July 2026

Following due consideration, Senate approved the proposed Time-Table for Students’ Applications for Intra-University Transfer for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
