LASUED refutes allegations linking its students to Oto/Ijanikin Community Fracas

The attention of the Management of Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) has been drawn to a rumour circulating that our students are involved in the ongoing fracas between the University’s host communities, Oto and Ijanikin.

For the avoidance of doubt, LASUED and its law-abiding students are role models and ambassadors of peace who will not, at any time, engage in actions capable of bringing the institution or the larger society into disrepute or chaos.

The general public is hereby advised to disregard any online or offline claims alleging the involvement of LASUED students in the recent clash between some youths from the two aforementioned communities.

LASUED remains a peaceful and law-abiding institution, committed to nurturing future leaders in an environment that promotes harmony, discipline, and mutual respects.
