LAUTECH FASS to Hold 8th Lecture Series on Artificial Intelligence and Deep Scholarship

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, has announced its 8th FASS Lecture Series scheduled to hold on Thursday, 21st May 2026, at 12 noon.

The lecture, titled “Artificial Intelligence, Intellectual Authenticity, and Deep Scholarship: Rethinking Library and Information Science in The Digital Age,” will be delivered by Prof. Adefunke Sarah Ebijuwa of the Department of Library and Information Science.

The event will take place at The Hall, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, under the distinguished chairmanship of Prof. R. O. Rom Kalilu, who will serve as Chief Host.

Also expected at the event is Prof. T. Ebijuwa, who will host the lecture series, while Mr. S. O. Bolaji serves as the RSVP contact person.

The lecture is expected to explore the growing impact of artificial intelligence on scholarship, intellectual authenticity, and the future of library and information science in the digital era.
