LAUTECH notice on the security situation within the campus

The Management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, hereby reiterates that none of the Institution’s students was killed in an alleged robbery incident that became a source of worry following its recent erroneous online reportage as a herdsmen attack.

While the LAUTECH Campus remains an impregnable fortress, the university is already working with security agencies to ensure that students’ residential areas are safe from all forms of aggression.

The sobering awareness of the country’s security situation notwithstanding, it should be noted that the management has put measures in place to ensure that security operatives are deployed to student areas to forestall robberies and perpetration of other criminal activities.

The university, therefore assures its students and their parents of the security of their lives and property. In the same vein, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor R. O Rom Kalilu wishes all Ladokites success in their various endeavours and encourages them to continue their academic activities without any fear of molestation.
