Local Government Chairman Promises a Car to any Student That Scores 9 Credits in WAEC or NECO

The chairman of Bama Local Government Area of Bornu State, Alhaji Baba Shehu while on a visit to some final year Secondary School Students at Government College, Maiduguri, made a car offer to any student that can score up to nine (9) credits in either WAEC or NECO.

The Chairman who also gave each of the 360 students cash money to enable them travel back home after their exams said the visit was necessary to encourage and motivate the students considering the present security challenges.

The principal of the school, in response, appreciated the kind gesture displayed by the chairman.
