Election: How to Locate and Confirm your Polling Unit

Emeka β€’ 2 years ago

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has urged Nigerians to verify their designated polling units in preparation for the upcoming general election.

The Presidential and National Assembly elections are scheduled for Saturday, 25th February 2023, while the Governorship and State Assembly elections will take place two weeks later on Saturday, 11th March 2023.

To facilitate the process, INEC has provided two distinct methods for voters to identify and confirm their Polling Units before Election Day. These options include sending a regular text message or visiting the INEC website.

How to Locate and Confirm your Polling Unit Via SMS

Kindly text the name of your State, Lastname and the last six digits of your Voter Identification Number (VIN) to 09062830860 or 09062830861 to get your Polling unit name.
