Malnourished and starved lions spotted at OAU and UI zoos

These severely starved and malnourished lions were photographed in a zoo allegedly owned by the Obafemi Awolowo University and the University of Ibadan, respectively.

The underfed animals can be seen lying helplessly on the ground.

The one spotted at the University of Ibadan zoo was without a tail. It was allegedly cut off by the zoo management and fed to the lion to make it ''wicked''.
