MAUTECH notice to new students on NELFUND application process

Modibbo Adama University, Yola, has released an internal memo to all newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session regarding the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) application process.

According to the memo signed by the Acting Director of ICT, Dr. Munzali A. Abana, new students are required to complete an institutional data capture form as a mandatory step before applying for the student loan. The university noted that this exercise enables MAU to upload students’ biodata and admission details to the official NELFUND server.

Students are instructed to either scan the QR code provided in the announcement or click the official link to access the data capture form. They are also urged to ensure that all required information is filled in accurately.

The memo clarified that completing the institutional form does not mean an application for the NELFUND loan has been submitted. Instead, it only grants the university permission to upload each student’s details. Once the upload is successful, students will then be able to access the NELFUND portal to submit their actual loan application.
