MAUTECH notice on COVID -19 protocols as the school resumes

This is to inform all Staff of the University that Senate at its 100th Special meeting held on Tuesday 12th January, 2021 approved the resumption of first semester 2019/2020 session on Monday 18th January, 2021. In this regard, the University Management directs that wearing of facemasks by all staff, students and visitors is obligatory.

In addition, all staff and students must at all times be with their hand sanitizers for frequent use.

In the light of the above therefore, there will be no entry to the University without wearing of facemasks as such, the covid-19 protocol of wearing facemasks within the campus should be adhered to strictly and that visitors into the University must have their temperature checked at the gate.

By a copy of this letter, the Chief Security Officer of the University should ensure total compliance of this directive.
