Mbagen College of Health Technology, Abwa announces Admission Exercise, 2026/2027

The Management of Mbagen College of Health Technology, Abwa, has officially announced the sale of admission forms for the 2026/2027 academic session. Located in the Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State, the accredited institution continues its mission under the motto: "Training Breeds a Healthier Society."

Prospective students are invited to apply for professional training in the following specialized healthcare programs:

Academic Programs & Entry Qualifications

1. National Diploma in Community Health (CHEW) – 3 Years

Candidates must possess WAEC, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE O-Level with five (5) credits obtained in no more than two sittings. Compulsory subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Junior Community Health Workers (JCHEW) with two years of post-qualification experience and a valid practice license from the CHPRBN are also eligible.

2. Certificate in Community Health (JCHEW) – 2 Years

Requires at least three (3) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and Biology, plus passes in two other science subjects in WASCE/GCE, NABTEB, or NECO at no more than two sittings.

3. Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – 3 Years

Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) O-Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics at no more than two sittings.

4. National Diploma in Health Information Management (ND-HIM) – 2 Years

Requires five (5) credit passes at SSCE level (WAEC, NECO, or GCE) in English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry, and Physics, obtained in no more than two sittings.

Application Method & Payment

Admission forms are obtainable at the Registry Department at the cost of Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N12,500.00). Sales are conducted during working hours (7:30 am – 4:00 pm), Monday through Friday.
