MAUTECH notice on inter-departmental transfer to new programmes in Faculty of Environmental Sciences

The Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Department of Geography, Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, has officially announced the commencement of two newly approved degree programmes following approval by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

The newly introduced programmes are:

• B.Sc. Environmental Management
• B.Sc. Meteorology

According to the department, the University Management has also approved admissions into the programmes for the current 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Consequently, the Department of Geography is inviting interested students to apply for inter-departmental transfer into any of the new programmes at the 100 Level.

Students interested in the transfer process are advised to contact the Head of Department (HOD), Geography for further guidance and necessary information.
