MAUTECH notice to students on the use of Identification Cards within the campus

The Management of Modibbo Adama University, Yola, has issued an immediate directive making the use of Identification Cards compulsory for all staff and students on campus.

In a general circular released on Tuesday and signed by the Registrar, Mustafa U. Migawa, the university stated that no individual will be granted access to any office within the university premises without visibly wearing their official ID card.

The memo, with reference number MAUIR.1/Vol.1, emphasised that the enforcement of this policy takes effect immediately. The University Management has specifically directed the Chief Security Officer to ensure full compliance with the new directive.

The circular appeals for the understanding and patience of the university community while conveying the regards and consideration of the Vice-Chancellor.

This move is expected to bolster security measures and streamline identification processes across the university's facilities. All staff and students are advised to ensure they have their ID cards on them at all times while on campus.
