MOUAU releases SUG election timetable, 2026/2027

This is to inform all students of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) that the Student Affairs Department has released the 2026/2027 SUG Election Timetable.

​The schedule for the election process is as follows;

​Thursday 30th April, 2026: Letter to colleges for nomination of students to serve in the MOUAECO.

​Tuesday 5th May, 2026: Inauguration of MOUAECO/Publication of guidelines for the election.

​Wednesday 6th May – Monday 11th May, 2026: Sale of forms.

​Tuesday 12th May, 2026: Return of nomination forms and Display of names of registered students.

​Wednesday 13th May and Thursday 14th May, 2026: Screening of candidates.

​Friday 15th May, 2026: Display of list of successful candidates.

​Friday 15th May – Sunday 17th May, 2026: Campaign.

​Monday 25th May, 2026: Manifesto day.

​Wednesday 27th May, 2026: Election day and announcement of results.

​Friday 29th May, 2026: Presentation of the newly elected officials to Management and inauguration.
