NDU dean burnt to death in a car crash

The Dean of Student Affairs at the Niger Delta University, NDU, Dr. Ayasen Kemeakigha, was burnt to death in a car accident along the famous Tombia Amasomma Road.

The dean was reportedly on his way from the institution to Yenagoa, the state capital on Saturday, January 21 when his car was involved in the accident that claimed his life.

A statement by the Bayelsa State Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Asinim Butswat, confirmed the incident and noted that the deceased was the only occupant of the car.

His body has since been deposited in the morgue.
