RSUST SUG notice to students on NELFUND

Students whose NELFUND loan portal reflects their school fees as “Disbursed” have been advised to take immediate action to secure clearance for their examinations.

In a statement released by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Osinachi Joseph Chukwubuike, affected students are required to print proof of their disbursement status from the NELFUND portal and proceed to the Bursary Department, located at the Senate Building, for official stamping and acknowledgment.

According to the notice, this process is mandatory to ensure students are cleared to write their exams without any disruptions.

Additionally, students who had already paid their tuition fees privately before NELFUND disbursed the loan are instructed to submit their payment receipts along with the printed disbursement status. The university has assured that refunds are being processed for such cases and will be reimbursed promptly.

“Please treat this urgently to avoid any last-minute issues with your exams,” the statement read.

The directive applies to all students currently awaiting clearance amid the ongoing examination period.
