UNIUYO SUG update on NELFUND

Students of the University of Uyo have been reminded that the registration window for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) will close in just three days.

In a press release issued by the Directorate of Information & Public Relations of the Students' Union, all eligible students are advised to complete their registration without delay via the official portal: https://nelf.gov.ng

The release, signed by Godwin Patrick, Director of Information & Public Relations, also addressed concerns regarding Year One students who are encountering technical issues during registration—specifically those whose matriculation numbers are showing “missing information.” Such students are directed to report immediately to the NELFUND Desk Officer’s Office for verification and ratification.

Additionally, following a meeting held earlier today regarding various NELFUND-related challenges faced by students of the institution, the union confirmed that all complaints have been duly documented and forwarded to the appropriate authorities. Students are assured that necessary steps are being taken, and the matters raised will be resolved as soon as possible.

The Students' Union urges all students to treat this notice with urgency and ensure full compliance within the stipulated timeframe.
