Nigerian Student Emerged 3rd Position in The Commonwealth Writing Contest

Jimoh Khairat Onize, a 13-year old Nigerian student from Dependable International School, Niger State, emerged as the second runner up of the British Council Writing Competition. 

The competition was held to give children the opportunity to play their part in the commonwealth's story heritage, and it was open for students worldwide. The common wealth theme of the year is peace, so student were invited to write on the theme. 

The competition fell into two age categories (7-10 year olds or 11-14 year olds). Onize happened to fall in the second category and she wrote a story titled "Unity and Faith, Peace and Progress"

Wawu! she came the third best after the sceening.
