Northwest University, Kano update on delay in Certificate Issuance

The Management of Northwest University, Kano has addressed concerns circulating on social media regarding delays in the issuance of certificates for graduands who participated in the Second Combined University Convocation.

The University confirmed that some certificates have already been delivered from the United Kingdom and are available for collection at the Office of the Registrar.

Reason for Delay

The delay was caused by errors on some certificates, particularly in the endorsement details, which did not match the officially approved information submitted to the University. The General Manager of the printing company acknowledged the mistake and assured the University that the printing, correction, and delivery of the remaining certificates will be completed promptly.

Certificates Available for Collection

Graduands are informed that the following certificates are ready for collection:

1. Undergraduate Students – 2023/2024 Session

2. Postgraduate Students – 2022/2023 Session

Collection Details

Start Date: Monday, 22nd December, 2025

Days: Monday to Friday

Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm

Location: Office of the Registrar

Graduands are strongly advised to seek information only from official University sources.

Remaining certificates will be delivered from the UK after corrections are completed.

The University apologizes to all affected graduands and assures that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure timely completion and delivery.
