AKWAPOLY notice to students o enrolment to the Akwa Ibom State Health Insurance Scheme (AKSHIS)

The management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, has officially announced the enrolment schedule for the Akwa Ibom State Health Insurance Scheme (AKSHIS).

​Following the recent sensitization exercise, all students are hereby informed that the registration process will take place from Monday, January 26th to Wednesday, January 28th, 2026, at the Polytechnic Library Conference Hall.

​Enrolment Schedule & Departments

​To ensure a smooth process, the exercise has been divided by schools:

​Monday, January 26th (11:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

​School of Applied Sciences

​School of Engineering Technology

​Tuesday, January 27th (11:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

​School of Communication Arts

​School of Environmental Studies

​Important Requirements & Guidelines

​Enrolment Fee: Every student is required to pay a sum of Twelve Thousand Naira (N12,000) for the enrolment.

​Lecture-Free Days: Management has declared that the specific day allotted to your school is a lecture, test, and examination-free day. This is to allow every student ample time to complete their registration without academic distraction.

​Students are encouraged to take advantage of this health scheme and ensure they register on their assigned dates.
