FUNAAB notice on refund of overpaid NELFUND loan

This is to inform students that an error occurred during the disbursement of the NELFUND Student Loan. As a result, some students received more than the amount they originally applied for.

The University Management has directed that all students who were overpaid must refund the extra amount received.

Affected students are to report to the Students’ Union Building and meet the Director of Finance and the Director of Treasury to collect the RRR already generated for the refund, after which payment should be made.

All refunds must be completed on or before the end of the lecture-free week.

Please note that any student who fails to refund the excess amount within the stipulated time will not be allowed to write examinations, as the overpayment will be treated as outstanding fees.

All concerned students are advised to treat this notice with urgency.
