UNIUYO Faculty of Engineering notice to students

The Nigerian Universities Engineering Students’ Association (NUESA), University of Uyo Chapter, has announced the opening of applications for interested engineering students to join the Faculty Debate Group/Committee.

In a memorandum dated January 3, 2026, and signed by the NUESA UNIUYO President, H.E. Comr. James Anietie, the association invited all engineering students with an interest in debating and intellectual discourse to apply.

According to the notice, the Faculty Debate Group is open to students who are passionate about public speaking, critical thinking, debating, advocacy, and effective representation of the faculty. The initiative is aimed at encouraging active student participation while fostering confidence, leadership skills, and intellectual engagement among engineering students.
