NYSC Implements The Use Of Biometric Clearance System To Curb Fraud

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) recently introduced Biometric Clearance System to checkmate cases of impersonation and other  fraudulent activities in the scheme by corps members.

It was gathered that the System is already being deployed to the Local Government Areas of the country.

According Mrs Christy Uba, the NYSC Director of ICT this new development will ensure that corps members are well monitored in their places of primary assignments through their fingerprints and personal data.

She further mentioned that the Biometric Clearance System will be deployed in the process of Mobilization, ID card production, deployment and Printing of NYSC Certificates.
