NYSC update to prospective corps members on correction of credentials

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) can now apply for the correction of specific academic details directly through their personal dashboards. This digital shift aims to streamline the mobilization process and reduce the need for physical visits to headquarters for data rectification.

Available Correction Options

Candidates can now log in to their NYSC dashboard to request changes for the following three categories:

• Correction of Course of Study: For discrepancies between the course studied and the one appearing on the portal.
• Correction of Qualification: For errors regarding the type of certificate or degree obtained.
• Correction of Class of Degree: To update or fix errors related to the grade or classification of the degree awarded.

Approval Process

Once a request is submitted via the portal, it will be processed remotely. The Students Affair Officer (SAO) of the respective institution is responsible for treating these applications online. PCMs are advised to monitor their dashboards regularly for status updates.
