Nysc Urges Govt To Subsidise Feeding For Corp Members

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Enugu State Command, on Monday, pleaded with the state government to subsidise the feeding of the Corps members, because of their population.

Mrs Nwano Ukagha, the State Coordinator of the NYSC, made the plea during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2016 Batch B Corps members at the State Orientation Camp in Awgu, Enugu State on Monday.

She said despite all the support the state has given to them, it was constrained to solicit for more, especially in the provision of facilities in camp.

Some of the Corps members deployed to the state told Vanguard that except for inadequate water supply, other facilities as hostel, electricity and social services were in fair supply.
