OAU debunks rumors of former vice-chancellor’s demise

The management of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU),has reacted to the rumors making its rounds on social media on the alleged demise of the immediate past vice-chancellor of the university, prof. Roger Makanjuola. 
 

The incumbent vice-chancellor of the institution  prof. Eyitope Ogunbodede in a congratulatory message issued to mark the birthday celebration of the former VC, warned bloggers and naysayers to desist from carrying unverified stories about people. 
 

He stated that the former vice-chancellor was very much alive, and living in good health. 
 

He further commended the academia for sacrificing his time, energy, and resources to ensure the development of the university.
